Mack’s Lure was founded in 1969. At the time, Vern McPherson and his wife, Edna, lived in Riggins, Idaho. It was there that a close friend of the McPherson’s designed the very first lure Vern would offer fishermen — the now world-famous Wedding Ring® spinner. In the beginning, Vern, Edna, and their son, Ray, manufactured all of the tackle. Vern took these new fishing lures from store to store, giving store owners an opportunity to add his products to their inventory. It didn’t take long before fishermen recognized the quality of McPherson’s spinner — and that was just the beginning.
Over 50 years later, we’ve grown a lot, but Mack’s Lure is still committed to excellence in fishing tackle. We focus on producing innovative products, coupled with outstanding customer service. All Mack’s Lure product lines are extensively field-tested, meaning they’re proven fish-catchers before they are brought to the market.
The Wedding Ring® is still the same ole, productive, tournament-winning lure as it’s always been, but you now have dozens of options on how to customize those time-tested lures.
